Sponsored by The Scottish Informatics & Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) and the EPSRC Network EMERGENCE (Tackling Frailty: Facilitating the Emergence of Healthcare Robots from Labs into Service) and hosted by the CARE Group from the National Robotarium at Heriot-Watt University, the Robotics + Care Mashup returned in October 2023 to bring together students, academics, end-users, care providers and technologists to develop solutions that could help people live more independent lives. The event featured talks, hands-on workshops and tutorials for technologists and care providers, with leading experts in healthcare, assistive technology and robotics - all centred around a 5-day long hackathon
